The views from this trail were better than expected. Just before the fire tower is a rocky ridge that can be a bit precarious to follow during the winter with snowpack on the ground. Overall beautiful views of the lakes below.
Beautiful views of Casco Bay from the trail. Beaches that line the shore are popular, so expect other hikers during warm months. The Ledge Trail was a bit buggy.
Great hike up the mountain with spectacular views from the cliffs of Camden harbor below. Adam's Lookout wasn't a nice as the views from the ledges, but provides a view of the offshore islands. Only downside to hiking in the summer heat was the lack of a breeze, even in the exposed areas.
Neat old military fort with a short loop around the buildings. Great spot for a short walk in the evening, but likely even more crowded during summer days.
One of Maine's best coastal trails despite no lighthouses at this park. Popular trail -- lots of people, but plenty of room to spread out and get away from the crowds.
Super scenic waterfall and stone bridge. We showed up to find just one other person at the waterfall. They left shortly after and we had the waterfall all to ourselves.
