I loved this hike! The trail was an easy stroll with great views of the lake, and fantastic birdwatching. I had the park almost entirely to myself on a Saturday afternoon.

Got our for a early Thanksgiving hike with Dustin and Devin. The small waterfall and campsite area is pretty sweet! The blazes aren't great but the trail was easy to follow. This was a muddy one.

Encountered a small black bear just as we started walking past the gate. About a half mile later we saw a >3ft rattlesnake laying in the tall grass right in the middle of the trail.
