First time going to see Yellow Dog Run falls - started on forest road, then followed creek with several wet crossings which wasn’t easy. Rock Run is the most beautiful stream in all of PA (along w/ Stony Fork Creek) - always fun seeing upper & middle Rock Run falls too which were even more beautiful with the Fall leaves in peak. Didn’t record activity.

Perfect trail conditions and several spectacular vistas! Definitely some challenging climbs, but we’ll worth it! Started doing clockwise climb up LT to Smith’s Knob, then LT east to Painter Run trail for first loop. Then hiked up LT clockwise & back around to western terminus (w/ some off-trail to avoid road walking at end).

Short but challenging climb with lower & upper vistas that are both excellent! Trail well marked (yellow blaze). I went counter-clockwise up the loop section - the right/east side was definitely rockier & steeper, so nice to come back down the more gradual/less rocky other side of loop. Cool seeing Smith’s Knob in the distance since I hiked there earlier in the day!

Did this in winter snow, so had to park car at the very bottom of main game road (not really a parking spot, but wasn't blocking anything). This is only the 2nd half of recording (1st part going down to explore the nice waterfalls of Huckle Run stopped accidentally). Really excellent pair of off-trail vistas with the one closer to start as Shawn did being the best! As long as you have the vistas pinned, easy enough to find heading in general direction through forest.

Simply the best for waterfall lovers, and thankfully not too busy on this Fall Monday afternoon. Went as fast as possible while still getting to take quick pics & enjoy every beautiful waterfall from the best angles possible! Also started by hiking to the abandoned dam for first time which was neat!

Definitely the most beautiful creek in all of PA! Started by doing short off-trail hike up to Black Run falls which was nice & flowing ok, then down to Stony Fork Creek using MST to Big Falls before turning back & staying along the creek as much as possible. Also went up Moss Run, but only a trickle, so didn’t see all the falls. Able to enjoy this special place with no other hikers on a perfect weather day bringing out the best of the water color!

A super challenging but amazing day hiking all over the Pine Creek Gorge! Started morning hiking up & back Gillespie Point (spectacular views), then did West Rim Jerry/Bohen Falls (beautiful waterfalls & cascades), then continued up WRT to old logging roads all the way to Chimney Rock trail/vista, then did off-trail scramble all the way down mountain to 414 which was very challenging, then hiked from Cedar Run to Blackwell start on Pine Creek Rail trail (stopping at bridges & Rattlesnake Rock). Longest hike & most elevation (to-date) but worth the effort!

Bull Run is a quite challenging 1 mile climb (but trail in great shape), then Chimney Rock trail had the most abundantly blooming, beautiful mountain Laurel that I’ve ever seen! Such a magnificent vista, and great to see the American flag flying with the nice breeze!

Beautiful, peaceful area - started going east around Long Pine reservoir, then hiked up CCW around Rocky Knob, and then back down/around the west side of water along Beaver trail (8.66mi total). Wonderful views the entire way around the reservoir with mostly pine forest - flat/easy! Mountain Laurel in full bloom & all around Rocky Knob Trail which is so lush, making things very enjoyable! View at the top is nice - just wish there were more views like it! Going CCW allows uphill for the steep part, then down the gradual side.
