Absolutely stunning location and glad we decided to come here somewhat last minute. The drive from Menaggio to Nesso was an adventure in itself. We got lucky by finding just one open parking space when we arrived in the early evening.

This waterfall and trail was right near our Airbnb so it made for a fun spot to explore. Not many people around so it's another great place to enjoy scenery around Menaggio without crowds near the shoreline of Lake Como.

Fun hike with no one around. We started in town, following public roads before the trail lead straight into the gorge. Cascata di Tobi is certainly a must-see if visiting Lake Como and the Menaggio area, especially if you're looking to escape the crowds.

Beautiful walk through Vezio, the gardens, and the castle grounds. Stunning views of Lake Como, definitely one of the best places around to explore the lake's quaint and historic charm.

Amazing spot to explore around Lake Como! We showed up for opening hours and explored Orrido di Bellano with very few people. The walk through the gorge is super fun especially if you show up with no crowds. Turquoise water, large waterfalls, and great views along the walk made the entrance fee worth it.

Castel Grande was a really fun stop on our long drive from Chamonix to Lake Como. Views of the nearby castles were stunning and the walk out along the castle wall with views of the vineyard made the castle well worth stopping at. No entrance fee to walk around the castle grounds either.

Short but fun hike up to the lake. We took the harder route up and followed the paved path down. Great views of Lago di Lucendro and beautiful mountain pass views of Gotthard Pass from the trail.

Driving up Nufenen Pass was a bit crazy with a ton of bikers and motorcyclists. Views from the top were amazing and the short hike out to the viewpoints with the Bernese Alps in the distance was well worth the drive to get there.
