This short walk begins on Via Cheglio in Menaggio. The footpath leads south and crosses the Sanagra River, following Via Leone Leoni. As you cross over the Sanagra River on the stone footbridge of Via Leone Leoni, you'll hear the rushing sounds of the river below your feet.

Via Leone Leoni leads to a turn onto Via Loveno where the road starts to climb uphill. Eventually, Via Loveno will come to an abrupt end where a right-hand turn, following a foot trail, begins. Simply follow the walking signs for "Loveno".

Near 0.2 km from the trailhead, you'll reach the final stone footbridge over the Sanagra River, where the majestic Menaggio Mini Waterfall finally comes into view.
