The first mile of the Mid State Trail makes for a "rocky" start! I hope to return when the Mountain Laurel is in bloom! The vista at Canyon Overlook was nice!

The many hues of hepatica were absolutely beautiful on the steep side of Mt. Tom! The view from the top was worth-while after a challenging climb!

Currently, a pad and access road are being built along much of the trail. It was nice to complete this on a Sunday to avoid construction and heavy equipment. The view was beautiful!

Princess pine, ferns, and moss….oh my! The outcroppings of rocks were really fun to explore on this trail! Seeing all of the signs of beaver activity on Bear Wallows was very interesting!

It was beautiful day to explore the Golden Eagle Trail! The Hepatica was in bloom, and the cascades were flowing nicely! The view from the Raven’s Horn was impressive!
