Another unexpectedly cool place to stop but the 3-foot deep snow had me turning back sooner than later. Views of Pass Lake, despite being frozen over, were cool. The nearby mountains had slumps of snow that looked like they were about to calve off at any moment.
Had a great hike to Treasure Falls. We sat at the bench just below the base of the waterfall at the rock overhang after exploring the blowout view. The mist from the waterfall was welcomed after the hike up on a hot day. We skipped the misty deck section of the hike, but the views from downstream were awesome.
Beautiful views from the trail throughout the entire walk. Had some difficulty breathing at this altitude, but I wasn't fully acclimated. We turned around at the south side of Andrews Lake due to the excessive amounts of black flies in early June.
