Views from the main beach area of Bowman Lake are stunning with colorful rocks in the water. You don't need to hike very far to take in views. The drive to reach Bowman Lake is a different story with a very-rutted unmaintained road to reach it.

Short hike along the Highline Trail. The shuttle service was done for the season so we decided for a short out-and-back hike to take in the views. The cliff of the Garden Wall was not as bad as I anticipated.

Started off on a cold morning before sunrise with only 2 hikers ahead of us and no one behind for quite a while. Had the trail to ourselves and watched the sunrise at Logan Pass. Views of Hidden Lake were worth the hike up.
