Nice hike up with Sam and Dustin. Did some trail maintenance, albeit on the final stretch to reach the peak and not necessarily on the overgrown service trail that leads in. Beware, lots of overgrown grass but no ticks to report (thankfully). Watched a storm roll in to the east with rising fog, then the storm sent clouds our way, so we boogied. Got rained on near the tail end of the hike out. Solid hike to Stony Peak!

Beautiful morning hike along the cliff walk. Super quiet - only a couple of other groups of walkers. The trail has more erosion closer to the eastern half so watch your step. Lots of poison ivy this time of year so be on the lookout to not brush your legs on it.

Brought Sam and Dustin here to check out Hamilton Hollow Falls from up-close as I'd only viewed this waterfall from across Cedar Run earlier in the year. The moss-covered rocks and ledges were awesome to say the least. Great cascade, though the water was lower in the Summer, but made for safe creek hiking in Cedar Run.

Quick hike to the beautiful rock grotto of Mine Hole Run Falls - much nicer in the Summer than the Spring despite the lower water. Dustin and Sam showed me the trail that runs up the rocks and meets the road as well, so there are 2 ways to reach this spot.
