For a longer, more challenging experience, head to the Treasure Loop & Jacob's Crosscut Hike in Lost Dutchman State Park near Apache Junction. This 3.2-mile loop boasts incredible desert scenery, including the iconic Superstition Mountains. Remember to pack plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat for this sun-drenched hike, especially during warmer months. Note that accessing this trail requires paying a park entrance fee to Lost Dutchman State Park, where you'll also find camping and potable water. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trail, making it a great option for furry companions.
