Explore the scenic Hemlock Loop, a gentle 0.2-mile loop following Hoffman Creek through a beautiful hemlock forest. Leashed dogs are welcome, making it a great spot for a leisurely stroll with your furry companion. With convenient parking available, Personius Woods provides an ideal opportunity to reconnect with nature.

Plan your visit to Personius Woods and choose your adventure! For a longer hike, consider connecting to the Cottontail Trail via the Hornbeam Loop, though be aware that the second half of the Hornbeam Loop can be overgrown and difficult to navigate. The 0.5-mile Pine Loop offers a slightly longer walk, but requires accessing it via the Cottontail Trail from the Hornbeam Trail. Please note that the Pine Loop can be confusing due to multiple intersecting trails and potentially misleading blazes, and is often muddy. Always be sure to wear appropriate footwear and pay close attention to trail markers to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
