Sullivan's March

Sullivan's March at Newtown Battlefield State Park near Elmira, New York is an easy 0.3-mile one-way trail that connects the Newtown Overlook to other trails at the park.

Hike Description
This trail begins along Newtown Reservation Road, near the Newtown Overlook, and heads downhill into the forest before heading northwest to reach more trails in the park. The trail includes undulation, but for the most part is easily hiking.

Parking
Hikers can find a large parking lot at the coordinates provided, just below the Newtown Battlefield Monument.

Pets
Dogs are allowed only if leashed and must be cleaned up after.

Biking
Biking appears to be permitted along this trail. Note that the southern trailhead has a small staircase.
