Bull run section of the hike is brutally steep. Several trees down on the trail that you need to scramble over, and areas where its borderline overgrown. For the narrower sections of the chimney rock vista trail, you should wave a stick ahead of you as you walk to keep some of the spiderwebs off your face. The view at chimney rock is amazing. Saw lots of kayakers in pine creek below. The climb back up from there is really tough. Take is slow on the steep downhill sections as it could be very easy to lose footing or turn an ankle.
