Taughannock Falls Overlook at Taughannock Falls State Park near Trumansburg, New York is an ultra-popular easy 0.2-mile out-and-back universally-accessible trail that leads to the stunning overlook of the 215-foot tall waterfall.
Universal Access
Please note that most of this path is universally accessible and visitors will get a view of the waterfall from above the staircase; however, the best view of the waterfall lies at the end of the overlook trail which is located down a series of steps. Most of this trail should be considered universally accessible.
Walk Description
This is not a hike but rather a very short walk that leads to the popular overlook of Taughannock Falls as it cascades down the gorge at 215-feet tall. Below your feet, at about ~400-feet in down in the gorge, will likely be hikers exploring the waterfall via the Taughannock Falls Gorge Trail. This is one of the most popular hiking destinations around Ithaca, so you'll see plenty of people especially during weekends. If you're looking to enjoy this waterfall without crowds, try an early morning or late evening visit during a weekday.

Hikers and visitors will find a large parking lot at the coordinates provided.
Pets
Dogs are allowed only if leashed and should be cleaned up after.

There's a state park gift shop located near the overlook where visitors can likely find water and possibly restrooms.
