The Lower Panther Hollow Trail at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is an easy 1 mile one-way trail that brings you along a nicely maintained path through one of Schenley Park's gorges - Panther Hollow.
There's a stream, Panther Hollow Run, that runs between this trail and the Upper Panther Hollow Trail with a few stone bridges along the way. You can connect with the Steve Faloon Trail, Hollow Run Trail, and Upper Panther Hollow Trail.
Parking: Parking can be found in a couple of places - at the parking marker provided in case you want to trek east to west. You can also park along Schenley Drive near the Phipps Conservatory and hike down the staircase there to hit the trail.
Dogs and biking are both allowed on this trail.
