Roaring Run Trail

The Roaring Run Trail in Apollo, Pennsylvania is an easy 4.6-mile one-way rail trail that connects Edmon, PA to Apollo, PA and runs along the Kiskiminetas River.

The trail is wide, well maintained, and smooth enough for road bikes to not have any issues on. The trail is mostly flat, except for the section closest to the Edmon, PA parking area - where there's a downhill section, if heading toward Apollo.

This recording begins in Edmon, PA and ends in Apollo, PA. If you wish to hike or bike this trail out-and-back, the total mileage will be 9.2-miles; otherwise, you'll need an additional car waiting for you at the other trailhead to drive back.

This trail also links up with the Rock Furnace Trail, which follows Roaring Run, roughly 3-miles into the trail (starting in Edmon).

Pets: Dogs are allowed if leashed and their waste must be carried out by the hiker.

Biking: Biking is allowed on this trail.

Parking: Parking can be found at the coordinates provided, which is on the Edmon, PA side. If you wish to park on the Apollo, PA side of the trail, head to these coordinates: 40.563812, -79.559757.
