Pearce Lake and Eagle Rock Loop

The Pearce Lake and Eagle Rock Loop at Breakheart Reservation in Saugus, Massachusetts is an easy to moderate 3-mile loop hike that covers several trails passing Pearce Lake and features a view from Eagle Rock.

This is a nice hike without too much elevation too quickly and a good alternative to just walking the roads. This trail is a loop around Breakheart Reservation, following Fox Run Trail to Pearce Lake and Eagle Rock trails, up to the top of Eagle Rock with a nice view of the area and Boston in the distance. It then goes down to follow Pearce Lake Trail over to Silver Lake Trail and continues over to Breakheart Hill before coming back down to behind the Visitor's Center.

Getting down from the rocks summits can be a little bit confusing but is generally workable, resulting in a very fun trail that gives some great vantage points.
