Paradise Overlook Trail

The Paradise Overlook Trail at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater in Mill Run, Pennsylvania is an easy 0.7-mile out-and-back trail that begins at the back of Fallingwater and heads out to a lookout point above the Youghiogheny River. Please note that to hike on this trail from Fallingwater, you'll need to pay the $10 per person grounds fee to enter and park here.

This trail is also part of the Black Loop Trail at Bear Run Nature Reserve in Mill Run, PA, so you can access this lookout point without paying the Fallingwater grounds fee, but you'll have to park at Bear Run Nature Reserve and hike along the Black Loop Trail for a 3-mile out-and-back hike instead.

The trailhead can be found behind Fallingwater after hiking up the service road towards a staff parking lot. At the parking lot you'll find a sign for the trail and black blazes along the trees. Follow the trail for just over a quarter-mile before reaching the lookout point.

The trail can be a bit muddy during rainy seasons, so proper hiking footwear is recommended.

Fee: As of April 2019, there is a $10 per person fee to enter the grounds of Fallingwater. Read more on Fallingwater's website.
