O'Connor Trail
The O'Connor Trail at Tioga State Forest near Gaines, Pennsylvania is a moderate 3.9-mile out-and-back trail that features a short mountain ascent along with several obstructed views of the neighboring mountains.This drive-able trail is a well-maintained wide trail that honestly looks and feels more like a road than a trail. There are several parking turnouts along this trail to shorten the hike - for example, if you just want to hike the hill several times, you can drive the trail and park at the base.
During Autumn, this trail can be very scenic with the foliage changing and since you can get glimpses of views through the tree branches near the eastern side of the trail.

Hikers will find enough room to fit about 2 vehicles near the trailhead for this trail.
Pets
Dogs are allowed if leashed.
Biking
This trail permits biking.
Camping and Backpacking
Backpackers will find several places off-trail that are flat enough to setup a tent, but there are no designated campsites off-trail that were noticeable. Please follow all state forest rules and regulations when camping.
