This was a great hike! I enjoyed exploring the Eyrie House ruins and the trail was easy to walk on—no bouldering or scrambling required. I missed the cutoff for Dynamite Trail on the way out, so I continued to the Visitor Center, which is why my hike is longer than the OP's. The trailhead on Underwood Avenue is misleading. Although there's a wide, obvious road along the power line, there's a closed gate across it with a "No Trespassing" sign. However, once you get past that sign and enter the forest, there's another sign that says that the property owner has granted an easement for M&M trail hikers.
