The Cabin Pathway at Newtown Battlefield State Park near Elmira, New York is an easy 0.2-mile one-way trail that runs behind the rental cabins at the park and connects to the Ridge Trail.

This trail can be picked up from the southern-most section of the rental cabins at the park, adjacent to the Lodge Trail, and runs behind the cabins to reach a service road. From the service road, hikers can connect to the Ridge Trail.

Parking
Note that the parking coordinates for this hike bring visitors to the southern-most parking lot near the entrance to the park. Hikers will have to walk down the road to reach this trail.

Dogs are allowed if leashed and must be cleaned up after.
