San Dieguito River Park

The Old Coach Trail offers a predominantly flat walking experience, with a notable steep section between miles 1.3 and 1.7 leading up to Raptor Ridge – be prepared for a bit of a climb! Convenient parking is available at the Old Coach Staging Area, situated about a quarter mile south of the trailhead. Plan your visit accordingly, bring plenty of water, and prepare to be rewarded with breathtaking vistas as you reach Raptor Ridge.
