Planning your hike on the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glen? Be aware that it's considered a difficult trail due to its steep, rocky paths, potentially slippery conditions, and creek-side cliffs. A section of the Glen Leigh side of the trail (eastern ravine from Highland Trail to Waters Meet) is currently closed following a rock collapse as of October 27, 2022. Hikers should always check for updated trail conditions before embarking on their journey. Winter access to the Falls Trail requires registration, prior experience, and specialized ice climbing gear.
