However, heed this caution: avoid making a turn at "Campsite Area 4" as deep sand there can easily trap vehicles. Please note that camping and overnight use at Polihale State Park are currently prohibited. Furthermore, be aware that rental car companies may have restrictions on driving off-road and cell service in this area is limited.
