West River Dam Overlook

The West River Dam Overlook is an easy 0.2-mile out-and-back trail located at Ball Mountain State Park in Jamaica, VT that features a beautiful vista point from high above the dam.

The trail starts off paved and leads down to the dam and then crosses it to the other side of the river and then follows the West River south. This recording does not cross the dam or follow the river, however, it just leads to the lookout and back to parking. The road beyond the trailhead brings you to the walkway above the dam providing stunning views of the reservoir below.
