Upland Trail

The Upland Trail at Raccoon Creek State Park in Clinton, Pennsylvania is an easy 0.5-mile one-way trail that connects the Mineral Springs Loop Trail to the main parking lot at the park along Raccoon Park Rd.

This recording starts at the western trailhead which can be found along the Mineral Springs Loop Trail, just after visiting the waterfall heading east. Heading west to east is easier than heading east to west as the hike is much more flat - the hike is a bit more moderate if you plan to hike towards the Mineral Springs Loop Trail from the parking lot.

Just after leaving the Mineral Springs Loop Trail, you'll cross the Heritage Trail before this trail continues into the woods and into a coniferous forest. Ignore each of the offshoot trails to each side of this one to continue following the Upland Trail.

The trail follows red blazes that were painted over blue blazes, so follow both colors where applicable - some blue blazes were not painted over.

Dogs and biking are both allowed on this trail.
