The Townshend Dam Trail is an easy 0.9-mile out-and-back trail located on Dam Rd in Townshend, VT and features a beautiful vista of the surrounding mountains, the West River, and the Townshend Reservoir.

The dam, including the bridge to the tower is roughly a half-mile long one-way. There are views of the reservoir on the northern side and the West River spillway on the southern side.
