The Switzerland of America Lookout Point in Ouray, Colorado is an easy 0.1-mile roadside lookout that features views of the mountains surrounding the town of Ouray.
This is not a hike but rather a very short walk at reach a couple different views at the lookout point. Visitors will find views from the lookout facing south, toward the mountains surrounding the Million Dollar Highway, and views facing north of Ouray. You'll find a dirt trail, located on the north side of the parking lot, that leads downhill to reach a view overlooking Ouray.

Note that this lookout is universally accessible as the parking lot provides views of Ouray and the surrounding mountains without having to hike down the steep dirt trail to reach the "better" view downhill. The parking lot is comprised of crushed stone and sits on a very flat and level grade, hence this lookout is universally-accessible to visitors.
