Steele Trail and Brook Trail Loop

The Steele Trail and Brook Trail Loop at the Smith Preserve in Kennebunkport, Maine is an easy 2.5-mile loop hike that features a short portion of the Steele Trail and the entire Brook Trail at the park.

Initially I had intended on making this a larger loop, but the trail I thought I could take was on private land and was closed. This loop was still a nice walk - more of a quick afternoon hike. The land was pretty as we crossed a brook and wove around some small rocks. It's a nice place to get away. This trail is kid and dog friendly, and if you want a longer hike, the Steele Trail goes on much further - please see the Park's trail map PDF for more details.
