Spicebush Loop Trail

The Spicebush Loop Trail at Harrison Hills Park in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania is a moderate 1.3-mile trail through the central part of the park.

This recording follows the trail counter-clockwise, heading west first. Heading west from the parking lot is more difficult than heading east at the beginning since there's a moderate-grade hill right off the bat. After hiking up the first hill, the trail will mostly flatten out and head back downhill towards parking with a few ascents along the way.

On the very far west side of the trail, this trail overlaps with the Scout's Trail, so you'll be following white and red blazes for a short while.

You can also find the Creekside Trail and the Woodlands Trail next to the parking lot, so be sure to check those out while you're there.

Follow the white blazes to complete the loop. Dogs and biking are both allowed on this trail.
