Sinking Springs Spur Vista

Sinking Springs Spur Vista in Tiadaghton State Forest near Jersey Mills, Pennsylvania is an easy 0.1-mile out-and-back / roadside vista that features stunning views of Pine Creek and the PA Grand Canyon.

This is not a hike but rather a very short walk from the dead-end road parking to the Sinking Springs Spur Vista (aka Spur Vista / Sinking Springs Vista). For folks who do not wish to or cannot walk, this is a great drive-up vista; however, you'll have to fare dirt roads to reach it.

Sinking Springs Spur Vista provides views of Pine Creek, the hamlet of Jersey Mills, the mountain slopes of the Miller Run Natural Area, and views into the hamlet of Cammal, PA.

Camping
Note that camping is permitted at Tiadaghton State Forest and there are a couple of fire rings at the end of this road. Camping is likely allowed here, but please follow all state forest rules and regulations.

Parking
Visitors will find parking at the dead-end of Sinking Springs Spur Road at the coordinates provided.

Pets
Dogs are allowed if leashed and should be cleaned up after.
