This small portion of the Robert Frost trail is a 2.3 mile out-and-back hike that runs through Amhert's Amethyst Brook Conservation Area.

Great hike through the woods and along the creek, but this is a very popular trail.

There are a couple of bridges that cross the creek and a few different ways to navigate this area, but the GPS data provided only shows one of many paths before heading further east on the Robert Frost Trail outside of the Amethyst Brook area.

Before you leave...

MyHikes is an independently-owned platform aimed to make exploring public trails easier for everyone. The site has no investors and is owned and operated by one person, Dave / Admin. We share trails, hikes, and backpacking trips on the interwebs for the fun of it and put a ton of time into mapping and writing about new trails to publish each month.

It takes a lot of time, money, and effort (including espresso shots) to run MyHikes, so we simply ask that if you find our content helpful or useful when planning your next adventure that you consider making a small donation to help keep the site running.

You can become a Supporter* (*MyHikes user account required) to unlock perks for as little as $0.83/month with a 1-time payment. Or you can simply Donate any amount without a MyHikes user account. Otherwise, telling your friends about MyHikes is the next-best thing to a donation and it's free!

Regardless, thanks for visiting MyHikes and have a great hike!
