This recording starts at the main gate for the Vaughan Woods Memorial State Park and follows the parking lot until reaching the short Shady Stroll Trail that leads into the main loop. Visitors may continue using the park during the off season by parking outside the gate, without blocking it, and walking in during these same hours.
