Ring Loop

The Ring Loop Trail at Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region in York, Maine is an easy 2 mile hike that encompasses Mount Agamenticus. The trailhead starts at the parking lot at the base of the mountain, along Mountain Road and starts off by heading north and counter-clockwise around the loop. The trail can be rocky and in parts there are plenty of roots along the trail to trip on as well, but it's an easy hike.

Upon reaching the southern section of the hike, the trail will abruptly end on Mt Agamenticus Road, so you'll have to hike down the road to complete the loop hike. Dogs and biking are allowed on this trail.

Lookout Point: There's one small lookout point in the northwestern section of this trail.

Trail connections: In the northern section of this trail you can hop on the Rocky Road Trail, Chestnut Oak Trail, Goosefoot Trail, and the Vulture's View Trail. The Vulture's View Trail and Goosefoot Trail both lead out to the Cedar Trail as well.
