Rainbow Eucalyptus (Maui Road to Hana)

The Rainbow Eucalyptus on the Road to Hana on Maui, Hawaii is an easy roadside walk that features the colorful sought-after trees known as the Rainbow Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta).

Walk Description
This is not a hike and not really a walk, but rather a roadside stop that travelers on the Road to Hana can checkout. Walkers can head across the street to view several large Rainbow Eucalyptus trees. Note that there are several Rainbow Eucalyptus that line this section of the road.

Parking
As stated, there's a very small parking turnout located at the coordinates provided. The turnout is large enough to fit two cars.

Warning
Traffic & Steep Terrain: The terrain adjacent to the road, in front of the trees, is generally steep. It's not a far drop, but you need to watch your step as many cars will be flying by on the Road to Hana that do not want to stop to view these trees.

Respecting the Land
Hawaiian land is considered sacred to native Hawaiians and many locals, so please stay on-trail, take nothing but photos, and leave nothing but footprints. Respect the locals - don't stay for long and have a backup hike planned in case the parking lot is full.
