The Pinnacle Overlook Loop Trail at Cumberland Gap National Historical Park is a short 0.4 mile loop hike that brings you above the Pinnacle Overlook Trail for a short nature walk with small views, between the trees, of the surrounding Cumberland Gap valley.
This trail is nothing special during the summer when you cannot get a great views between the trees of the valley, but in the fall and early spring the views from the lookout points are likely a lot better here.
By hiking this trail, you cross from Kentucky, into Virginia, and then back into Kentucky after 0.4 miles.
