Peterson Memorial Trail

The Peterson Memorial Trail at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park in Crescent City, California is an easy 0.3-mile one-way trail the passes through an ancient Redwood grove.

The trail encompasses the northern-most section of the park, passing streams and giant Redwoods along the way. This trail is easy and suitable for people of all ages.

Trailhead: Two trailheads can be found along the Simpson Reed Trail so you'll need to hike in along that trail to reach this one. This recording begins at the northern trailhead.

Parking: Parking can be found at the coordinates provided; however, you must walk up the road a short distance to the trailhead.

Pets: Dogs are not allowed at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.
