Pebble Beach Whale Watching Trail

The Pebble Beach Whale Watching Trail in Crescent City, California is an easy 0.1-mile out-and-back trail that leads to a lookout platform where hikers can enjoy a seasonal view of the California Gray Whale migration.

This tiny trail is just a stones-throw long, but is a great stop to stretch your legs and potentially get a view of some California Gray Whales. California Gray Whales are known for their lengthy 9,000 - 12,000 mile round-trip migration along the west coast of North America. The whales spend their Summers in the arctic feeding, but then migrate to southern California during the Winter.
