The Bike Trail at The Panhandle in San Francisco is an easy 0.7 mile one-way trail that begins/ends near the entrance to Golden Gate Park and passes along the northern side of The Panhandle. You can also start this trail at the intersection of Baker Street and Fell Street to head toward Golden Gate Park.
This trail is designated for biking and walking, but is a lot less peaceful than the Walking Trail at The Panhandle since you need to be cautious for speeding bikes the entire way.
The trail passes old trees, large open fields for off-leash dogs, and basketball courts.
Dogs are allowed on this trail.
