Orange & Yellow Blaze Trail

The Orange & Yellow Blaze Trail at North Park in Wexford, Pennsylvania is an easy 1 mile out-and-back hike through the western portion of the park and through an amazing evergreen forest. This trail may be overlooked and so lightly-trafficked that you thought there must be better trails at North Park, but this is one of the best trails at the park due to its seclusion and evergreens.

You can hop on the trail at two different points, but this GPS data starts at the intersection of Gass Rd and Kummer Rd in Wexford, PA - there's a nicely sized pull-off area for parking here. Follow the yellow blazes (faintly highlighted orange behind them) all the way until you reach the far-side of the North Park Horse Show Ring. You can also park at the Horse Show Ring and hike north too.

In the southern section of the trail, it splits into two - if you stay left and go directly into the field, the trail seems to end; however, if you stay right and continue following the blazes, it'll spit you out at the backside of the Horse Show Ring, so you can make a small loop in this field to head back.

Note: the blazes are not exactly Orange + Yellow Dot - it's more yellow blazes wit faint orange paint behind them. These blazes are set to match the North Park trail map PDF.
