New Fane Trail (Brown Loop)

The Brown Loop at the New Fane Trails in Kewaskum, Wisconsin is an easy 0.4-mile loop hike that leads through a field of seasonal goldenrod and other wildflowers.

This is less of a hike and more of a nature walk that follows the shortest of the New Fane Trail loops. The Brown Loop is the easiest of the loops within the trail system, but is a nice stop along a road trip to stretch your legs or for a simple walk through wildflower fields.

Parking
Hikers will find a large parking lot at the coordinates provided. It's large enough to fit several dozen vehicles.

Pets
Dogs are allowed if leashed and their waste must be carried out by the hiker.

Biking
Biking is not allowed on this trail and must stay on mountain bike trails only. Please see the New Fane Trail system PDF for more details.
