Mt Castor is located on Shays St in Amherst Massachusetts. The Mt Castor Trail is a short and easy 1 mile out-and-back hike to the summit and back; however, the summit is nothing special.

This GPS data includes the hike up to the trailhead and back, so the trail itself to the summit is even shorter. Plan for a 1 mile trip total.

Closest parking is at Crocker Farm School. Follow the blue dots (Ken Cuddeback Trail) to the trail head.
