Longfellow Trail

The Longfellow Trail in Cook Forest State Park, PA, is a great easy 1.4 mile one-way hike through an old growth forest called the Cathedral Forest.

This trail leads into parts of the Cathedral Forest with just evergreens and moss across the forest floor. Some trees grow over and on top of massive boulders, with roots reaching into the ground below.

This is just a very unique trail and one of the best hiking trails in Cook Forest State park.

Pets: Dogs are allowed if leashed and their waste must be carried out.
