Kent Mather Trail

This section of the Kent Mather Trail at Humboldt Redwoods State Park is a short 0.6 out-and-back hike that starts along the Avenue of the Giants on CA-254 and brings you out to South Fork Eel River and back. The trail itself is nothing special other than that it's a nice hike through the living and fallen redwood trees.

There's a nearby campground right up the road - the Burlington Campground - so this trail serves as a nice getaway from the campground and into the state park itself.
