Hummingbird Trail
The Hummingbird Trail at the Montour Preserve in Danville, Pennsylvania is an easy 0.2-mile universally accessible loop trail that features a peaceful forest stroll amongst wildflowers, wild berries, and possible wildlife. This very short walk should not be considered a hike but rather a peaceful walk through the forest. Upon this visit in July, 2023, we found wild blackberries and wildflowers growing right off the trail in addition to a seemingly-brave deer. No hummingbirds on this hike, but maybe you'll find some if you show up in mid-to-later Spring when the wildflowers are popping more.
Universally Accessible
This wide, flat, and crushed stone trail is universally accessible. There's a handicap parking space next to the trailhead as well.
