The Ash Cave Gorge Trail at Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio is an easy 0.4 mile one-way trail leads to one of the best natural wonders in the park - Ash Cave.

The cave is an immense rock overhang standing 90 feet fall, 700 feet long, and 100 feet in depth at some points. You feel extremely small being in Ash Cave and it's well worth a trip.

Prepare to hike 0.6 - 0.7 miles depending on which route you take. You can turn this into a 0.8 mile loop or take the Ash Cave Rim Trail back, which is 0.2 miles one-way.
