The Bunker Hill Trail at Highland Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is an easy 0.4 one-way trail that leads point to point from the intersection with Reservoir Drive and Farmhouse Drive to Mellon Street and One Wild Place.

The trail cuts through the southern section of Highland Park, which gives you connections with the Outer Loop Trail, Memorial Trail, and the Carnegie Trail (near the eastern trailhead).

Dogs and biking are both allowed on this trail.

Water source: There's a running water fountain during warmer months next to the entrance road to the park. This trail passes right by it.

Before you leave...

MyHikes is an independently-owned platform aimed to make exploring public trails easier for everyone. The site has no investors and is owned and operated by one person, Dave / Admin. We share trails, hikes, and backpacking trips on the interwebs for the fun of it and put a ton of time into mapping and writing about new trails to publish each month.

It takes a lot of time, money, and effort (including espresso shots) to run MyHikes, so we simply ask that if you find our content helpful or useful when planning your next adventure that you consider making a small donation to help keep the site running.

You can become a Supporter* (*MyHikes user account required) to unlock perks for as little as $0.83/month with a 1-time payment. Or you can simply Donate any amount without a MyHikes user account. Otherwise, telling your friends about MyHikes is the next-best thing to a donation and it's free!

Regardless, thanks for visiting MyHikes and have a great hike!
