The Orange Loop Trail at Hartwood Acres Park in Indiana Township, Pennsylvania is a moderate 1.2-mile trail along fields and woods through the eastern side of the park.
This trail includes plenty of ascents and descents which makes for a great trail for a workout. The trailhead can be found just east of the main parking lot and immediately heads downhill, with some short hills in between. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, the trail starts to climb back up to the parking lot at a moderate grade, but the hike uphill is just over a half-mile.
Follow the orange blazes to stay on the trail. Dogs and biking are both allowed on this trail.
Parking: Parking can be found at the main parking lot for the Hartwood Acres Mansion.
