God's Thumb

The God's Thumb Trail in Lincoln, OR, is an easy 1.6 mile out-and-back hike out to the Pacific Ocean and the God's Thumb lookout point.

The trailhead is not easy to find - you have to walk to the end of the road, go down the driveway on the left (the one at the hairpin turn in the road). The gate will be closed but you will see tracks around the gate on the right side. Follow this driveway for less than 100 yards, and there will be a trail on the right. This is your trail.

Parking: Parking can be found down along the street along NW Logan Road. Please respect the locals and do not park or walk on private property.

Distance: The trail distance is 1.3 miles out-and-back, but the entire hike is closer to 1.6 miles since you have to hike up Logan Road to reach the trailhead.
