The Tranquil Trail at Frick Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is an easy 2.6 mile out-and-back trail that leads from the northern section of Frick park (near Reynolds St and S Homewood Ave) down to the southern end of Frick park (near I-376).

The trail is mostly flat with an incline near the northern section. This is definitely one of the best hiking trails within Pittsburgh and Frick Park, but is often heavily-trafficked including an abundance of dog walkers. If you're looking for seclusion, this trail is not for you.

Dogs are allowed if leashed and their waste must be carried out by the hiker.

Parking
The parking coordinates listed will lead hikers to the southern terminus lot, which is large. On the north end (where this recording beings), street parking can be found along Reynolds St near the intersection with S Homewood Ave.
